About OpenCura
A private place to reflect on what matters.
OpenCura is a focused, autonomy-first wellness companion. We believe teens deserve a space to explore their health, feelings, and routines without scores, tracking pressure, or automatic sharing.
How it supports Teen
Teen chooses the wellness areas they want their companion to keep in mind. Check-ins, questions, and small reflections help build self-awareness and self-advocacy.
Privacy & Choice
Conversations are stored on OpenCura's servers so the companion can work across sessions. Parents see high-level progress summaries only — not transcripts. Sharing with family is always Teen's choice, and Teen can stop sharing at any time.
What it is not
OpenCura is not medical care, not a clinical diagnostic tool, and not a substitute for a doctor or therapist. It does not monitor safety continuously or alert anyone automatically. It is not HIPAA-covered care.
Pilot Scope
This is an early-stage 10-day pilot. Account setup and acknowledgements are saved to your OpenCura household on the server. Conversation content is deleted at the end of the pilot; only anonymized engagement counts are retained. Last updated September 8, 2026.
